Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly and effectively
  • Strong math skills
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • Ability to lift at least 20 pounds
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, and squat frequently
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook all menu items according to Slim Chickens' recipes, portion standards, and quality expectations
  • Maintain an up-tempo work ethic and high level of energy during busy lunch and dinner rushes
  • Quickly and efficiently bread, fry, and assemble menu items ensuring speed and consistency
  • Monitor and maintain fryer oil quality by properly filtering and cleaning equipment
  • Keep all kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils clean, sanitized, and organized
  • Follow all food safety, health, and sanitation guidelines
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth kitchen operations
