Job Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to stand or walk for up to 12 hours continuously
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
- Must be able to operate fryer and kitchen equipment safely
- Physical stamina to perform medium to heavy lifting and repetitive tasks
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cooking or food preparation experience preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to follow detailed cooking instructions and recipes
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Good communication skills
Job Duties
- Set up the batter table collect all necessary smallwares and prepare batter mix
- Ensure that call sheets are complete posted and used
- Check all equipment and immediately report any malfunctions within the area to the manager in charge
- Color balance fryers and add sufficient shortening to maintain proper shortening levels
- Filter and clean all fryers at designated times following safety guidelines
- Pan sufficient chicken for operational needs
- Prepare and cook all food products as directed meeting specifications and quality standards
