Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year cooking experience
  • Knowledge of HACCP standards
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to stand, bend, and twist as required
  • Willingness to work in hot and physically demanding conditions
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of closely related cooking experience
  • Experience in high volume and casual dining environments preferred
  • Knowledge of food preparation for soups, saute, broiler, fry, and pantry stations
  • Ability to read, comprehend instructions, and communicate effectively
  • Strong food safety and sanitation awareness
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Prepare cooked foods according to recipes and product directions including soups, meats, vegetables, desserts
  • Perform all station functions of fry, flat top griddle, pantry, and cooking eggs
  • Communicate ticket times and potential problems to managers and servers
  • Provide highest quality of service to customers and associates at all times
  • Follow food safety and sanitation practices complying with HACCP standards
  • Clean and sanitize work stations and equipment
  • Operate a variety of kitchen equipment and manage ingredient preparation
