Job Duties

  • Work on feet for long periods
  • Lift up to 50 lbs regularly using proper techniques
  • Set high professional appearance standards
  • Assist in teaching team members equipment and safety procedures
  • Communicate firmly but fairly with team members
  • Follow plating and presentation standards with garnishes
  • Arrange knives safely away from cutting board
  • Keep work area free of clutter
  • Gather utensils and equipment for station
  • Complete prep list from morning
  • Ensure all cooking equipment is on and up to temperature
  • Complete dinner breakdown properly
  • Assist other areas as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness, orderliness and safety standards
  • Sanitize work area
  • Turn off equipment at shift end
  • Cover and store food properly
  • Check with supervisor before leaving
  • Punch out daily in uniform
  • Communicate product ordering needs
  • Report issues and concerns to management promptly
  • Coordinate with service staff on menu availability and food delivery
