Job Requirements

  • Food preparation skills and knowledge of HACCP standards
  • Minimum 1 year related cooking experience
  • Understanding of soups, saute, broiler, fry, and pantry food preparation
  • Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to bend, twist, and stand for extended periods
  • Comfortable working with knives, utensils, and hot plates
  • Willingness to work in hot conditions
  • Frequently immersing hands in water with chemical solutions

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year cooking experience

  • Experience in high volume and casual dining preferred
  • Ability to follow recipes and food preparation instructions
  • Good communication skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare cooked foods following recipes and product directions
  • Communicate ticket times and potential issues to management and servers
  • Provide high-quality service to customers and associates
  • Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment
  • Practice excellent food safety and sanitation standards
  • Operate kitchen equipment and handle ingredients
  • Stock, date, rotate, and check temperatures of products
