Job Duties
- Open and close the kitchen as required ensuring all operations run smoothly
- Maintain a well-organized and efficient kitchen environment
- Prepare and present breakfast lunch dinner and snacks daily ensuring high-quality standards
- Create and present food for special events as directed by the Chef de Cuisine
- Execute menus adhering to all recipes and presentation guidelines
- Adjust meal preparations based on dietary restrictions and preferences of clients
- Ensure overall kitchen cleanliness including regular cleaning of refrigerators freezers ovens floors and dishes after each meal
- Adhere to state health and hygiene requirements and Newport Healthcare standards
- Engage positively with parents and guests building appropriate rapport to enhance dining experience
- Participate in baking or cooking groups contributing to team collaboration and skill development
