Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of three years culinary arts experience in a food service setting
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate English
  • ServSafe Certification or equivalent preferred
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights

Job Qualifications

  • Three years of culinary arts experience in a food service setting
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate English sufficiently
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associates Degree in Culinary Arts preferred
  • ServSafe Certification or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Plan and prepare cooking schedules based on menus and production sheets
  • Follow standardized recipes to ensure consistent product quality
  • Prepare and serve meals for patients, visitors, and staff in adherence to dietary guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen
  • Supervise and provide leadership to kitchen staff
  • Coordinate with other departments to support catering events
  • Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
