Job Requirements

  • Must meet minimum age requirements and be authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to bend, reach, squat, and safely lift up to 30 pounds
  • Capacity to stand for an 8 to 12-hour shift
  • Ability to work as part of a team with attention to detail and multitasking capabilities

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous cooking experience preferred
  • Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Accommodate and stock preparation and line stations
  • Clean, sanitize, and organize kitchen area, equipment, and utensils
  • Check the quality and freshness of ingredients
  • Prepare, season, and cook food according to recipes, specified quantities, and specifications, maintaining portion control systems
  • Inspect preparation and food serving areas, utensils, and equipment to ensure compliance with safe and sanitary food handling practices
  • Substitute or assist other cooks and kitchen positions during peak periods
