Job Requirements
- Must meet minimum age requirements and be authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to bend, reach, squat, and safely lift up to 30 pounds
- Capacity to stand for an 8 to 12-hour shift
- Ability to work as part of a team with attention to detail and multitasking capabilities
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cooking experience preferred
- Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Accommodate and stock preparation and line stations
- Clean, sanitize, and organize kitchen area, equipment, and utensils
- Check the quality and freshness of ingredients
- Prepare, season, and cook food according to recipes, specified quantities, and specifications, maintaining portion control systems
- Inspect preparation and food serving areas, utensils, and equipment to ensure compliance with safe and sanitary food handling practices
- Substitute or assist other cooks and kitchen positions during peak periods
