Job Requirements
- One (1) year food service experience
- Food Handlers Permit within 30-days of hire
- ability to work early morning and late evening shifts
- ability to adhere to hospital safety and sanitation policies
- availability for PRN (per diem or as needed) scheduling
- physical ability to perform cooking duties
- commitment to quality and customer satisfaction
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- one (1) year food service experience
- possession of a Food Handlers Permit within 30 days of hire
- cooking experience
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- good teamwork and leadership skills
Job Duties
- Prepares food for patients, staff, and visitors of the healthcare facility following safe cooking techniques
- supports quality control measures such as recipe adherence and food quality consistency
- maintains kitchen area to state required sanitary standards
- completes all tasks on duty while adhering to safety standards and policies of the hospital
- handles multiple food orders efficiently while maintaining quality
- assists and guides kitchen staff as needed
- works early morning and late evening shifts as scheduled
