Job Requirements

  • Must meet minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States
  • ability to bend, reach, stoop and safely lift up to 30 pounds
  • capability to stand for an 8 to 12-hour shift
  • ability to work in a team environment with attention to detail and multitask effectively

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior cooking experience in a restaurant setting is an asset
  • understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to work as part of a team
  • attention to detail in food preparation
  • ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Job Duties

  • Accommodate and supply prep and line stations
  • clean, sanitize and organize kitchen area, equipment, and utensils
  • check quality and freshness of ingredients
  • prepare, season, and cook food according to recipes, specified amounts, and portion control systems
  • inspect food prep and serving areas, utensils and equipment to ensure safe and sanitary food handling practices
  • substitute or assist other cooks and kitchen positions during busy periods
