- One year of full-time or equivalent part-time experience in food preparation and serving
- Ability to operate food service equipment
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Willingness to complete mandatory overtime
- Successful completion of chemical urinalysis and breath analysis drug screening test
- Completion of background check
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One year of full-time or equivalent part-time experience in food preparation and serving
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
- Familiarity with weights and measures
- Understanding of required dietary regulations
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve clients employee meals in cafeteria settings
- Maintain sanitation in all areas of dietary department
- Put up stock as it arrives in department
- Assist in inventory control
- Participate in continuous quality improvement monitoring
- Function as a supervisor in the absence of food service supervisor
- Operate food service equipment competently
