Job Requirements

  • Must meet minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and safely lift up to 30 pounds
  • Capacity to stand for an 8 to 12 hour shift
  • Ability to work cooperatively with team members and execute multiple tasks with attention to detail
  • Willingness to adhere to food safety standards and sanitation practices

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous cooking or food preparation experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Accommodate and stock preparation and line stations
  • Clean, sanitize, and organize kitchen area, equipment, and utensils
  • Check quality and freshness of ingredients
  • Prepare, season, and cook foods according to recipes, quantities, and specifications while maintaining portion control systems
  • Inspect food preparation and serving areas, utensils, and equipment to ensure safe and sanitary food handling practices
  • Substitute or assist other cooks and kitchen stations during peak periods
