Job Requirements
- Must meet minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and safely lift up to 30 pounds
- Capacity to stand for an 8 to 12 hour shift
- Ability to work cooperatively with team members and execute multiple tasks with attention to detail
- Willingness to adhere to food safety standards and sanitation practices
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cooking or food preparation experience preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Job Duties
- Accommodate and stock preparation and line stations
- Clean, sanitize, and organize kitchen area, equipment, and utensils
- Check quality and freshness of ingredients
- Prepare, season, and cook foods according to recipes, quantities, and specifications while maintaining portion control systems
- Inspect food preparation and serving areas, utensils, and equipment to ensure safe and sanitary food handling practices
- Substitute or assist other cooks and kitchen stations during peak periods
