Job Requirements
- Must be able to follow kitchen safety protocols
- Some experience in an assisted living setting preferred
- ServSafe certificate required
- English is required
- Ability to work part-time 20 hours per week including every other weekend
- Dependability and strong work ethic
- Compassionate attitude toward senior residents
Job Qualifications
- Food preparation experience in a kitchen setting
- Hands-on a la carte culinary preparation skills
- Ability to follow kitchen safety protocols
- Experience in an assisted living setting preferred
- Experience in hotel, club or fine dining is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- ServSafe certification required
- Proficiency in English
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook food according to menu specifications and dietary requirements
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the kitchen
- Follow kitchen safety protocols and food handling guidelines
- Assist with hands-on a la carte preparation and culinary services
- Support inventory and stock management as needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth meal service
- Provide excellent customer service and interpersonal interactions with residents and staff
