Job Requirements

  • Must meet minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to bend, reach, crouch and safely lift up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to stand for 8 to 12 hour shifts
  • Ability to work as part of a team with attention to detail and multitasking skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous cooking or food preparation experience is an asset
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to follow recipes and portion controls accurately
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • Basic understanding of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques

Job Duties

  • Accommodate and stock prep and line stations
  • Clean, sanitize and organize kitchen area, equipment and utensils
  • Check quality and freshness of ingredients
  • Prepare, season and cook foods according to recipes, portion control and specifications
  • Inspect food prep and serving areas, utensils and equipment to ensure safe and sanitary food handling
  • Substitute for or assist other cooks and kitchen positions during peak periods
