Job Requirements
- Must meet minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and safely lift up to 30 pounds
- Capability to stand for 8 to 12 hour shifts
- Ability to work in a team environment with attention to detail and the ability to multitask
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cooking experience in a restaurant or food service environment is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow recipes and portion control guidelines
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team
- Good communication skills
Job Duties
- Accommodate and stock preparation and line stations
- Clean, disinfect and organize kitchen area, equipment, and utensils
- Check quality and freshness of ingredients
- Prepare, season and cook food according to recipes, specified quantities, and portion control systems
- Inspect food prep and serving areas and utensils and equipment to ensure safe and sanitary food handling practices
- Substitute for or assist other cooks and kitchen positions during busy periods
