Job Requirements

  • Previous culinary experience in a team environment required
  • Ability to follow food safety and handling procedures
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm
  • Commitment to maintain cleanliness and safety in the kitchen
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
  • Willingness to wear provided uniforms and adhere to dress code
  • Reliable transportation to the Holy Comforter Episcopal School location

Job Duties

  • Prepare food items according to standardized recipes and schedules
  • Serve meals ensuring correct portion sizes and attractive presentation
  • Use ticket collection procedures and maintain service records
  • Clean kitchen and equipment following food safety standards
  • Store food and supplies properly and maintain organized storage areas
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed
  • Assist in production planning, ordering, and inventory management
  • Report maintenance issues and safety hazards promptly
  • Attend in-service and safety training sessions
  • Maintain strong relationships with team members and management
  • Practice all safety protocols and company policies including proper glove use and lifting techniques
