Job Duties

  • Prepare and distribute all food production for the Dietary department
  • supervise Dietary department personnel in absence of the Food Service Director
  • ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • manage and oversee kitchen and storage area conditions
  • communicate tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, and other stakeholders
  • incorporate new food service methods and principles
  • handle various operational interruptions including phone calls and visitor inquiries
