Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age
- high school diploma or equivalent
- at least one year of relevant cooking experience
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- prior experience in cafeteria or large volume food production preferred
- familiarity with food safety procedures

Job Duties
- refer to daily prep list at the start of each shift for assigned duties and complete opening and closing checklists daily
- set up workstation with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- safely use a variety of kitchen utensils including knives and other items
- operate kitchen equipment including ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers
- adhere to standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, kitchen rules, and recipes
- handle, store, label, and rotate products properly in accordance with state laws
- stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations
- understand menu items and prep ingredients accordingly
- multitask efficiently in a high-volume kitchen
- handle hot and cold work conditions and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods
- perform other related duties as assigned
