Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year of cooking experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Availability to work some weekends and holidays
- Experience with safety procedures in food service environments
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of relevant cooking experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Experience in a cafeteria or large volume production facility preferred
- Knowledge of kitchen safety and food handling procedures
Job Duties
- Refer to daily prep list and complete opening and closing checklists daily
- Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
- Safely use kitchen utensils and equipment including knives, ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers
- Comply with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen policies
- Properly handle, store, label, and rotate food products according to state laws
- Stock and maintain sufficient food products at line stations
- Understand menu items and prep ingredients
- Multitask in a high-volume kitchen environment
- Work under hot and cold conditions
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods
- Perform other related duties as assigned
