Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Culinary certificate or degree required
- Ability to stand and walk up to 7.5 hours
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform routine repetitive duties
- Ability to read menu and menu ticket
- Ability to read recipe
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to maintain even temperament in stressful situations
- Communicates frequently with co-workers

Job Duties
- Adheres to WPH performance standards, policies and behaviors
- Punches in/out as required based on assigned work schedule
- Reports to kitchen ready to work in uniform with visible identification badge
- Demonstrates and articulates an understanding of responsibilities of assigned positions
- Verbalizes and applies knowledge of current department policies and procedures
- Attends staff meetings and in-service sessions to update knowledge related to hospital and department issues
- Completes annual competency requirements documented on competency/education record
- Performs all other related duties as assigned
- Adheres to HACCP, recipe, and safety guidelines
