Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a kitchen environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to perform multiple kitchen roles including cooking and cleaning
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work early shift hours from 6:00am to 2:00pm
- Physical stamina for standing and working in a busy kitchen
Job Qualifications
- Proficient in cooking recipes at multiple stations
- Knowledge of food safety and ServSafe procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Positive attitude during busy and stressful shifts
- Experience in food preparation and inventory management
Job Duties
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Clean up station and kitchen
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure that food comes out at high quality and in a timely fashion
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
- Complete temperature logs and checklists for daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Participate in all roles in the kitchen as required, including as dishwasher when needed
