Job Requirements

  • Food preparation skills and knowledge of HACCP standards
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to bend, twist, and stand for extended periods
  • Experience working with knives, utensils, and hot equipment
  • Ability to work in hot kitchen environments
  • Comfortable speaking and understanding English
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of related cooking experience
  • Knowledge of food preparation and HACCP standards
  • Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions and policies
  • Experience in high-volume and casual dining preferred
  • Familiarity with soups, sauté, broiler, fry, and pantry stations
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare cooked foods according to recipes and product directions
  • Perform all station functions including fry, flat top griddle, pantry, and cooking eggs
  • Communicate ticket times and potential issues to management and servers
  • Provide highest quality service to customers and associates
  • Follow recipes and menus to season, cook, taste, carve, and serve food items
  • Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment
  • Comply with food safety and HACCP standards
