Job Requirements
- Line cook experience in a full scratch kitchen or restaurant
- 2 to 5 years experience on a fast-paced line or working a prep cook line station
- ability to execute flawless dishes in a timely manner
- ability to communicate with a friendly demeanor to all staff
- passionate about service to others and creating exceptional food experiences
- must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests including physical and tb tests
- willingness to comply with vaccination, daily screening, surveillance testing, and use of personal protective equipment (ppe) as required for health and safety
Job Qualifications
- Previous line cook experience in a full scratch kitchen or restaurant
- 2 to 5 years of experience working on a fast-paced line or prep cook station
- strong culinary skills and knowledge of cooking techniques
- ability to communicate effectively and professionally with staff and residents
- passion for hospitality and creating exceptional food experiences
- ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- flexible and adaptable to changes in the food service industry
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook meals from scratch using seasonal and local ingredients
- ensure all dishes are executed flawlessly in a timely manner
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace
- interact positively and professionally with residents and guests
- adhere to health and safety guidelines including sanitation and food handling protocols
- participate in team meetings and training sessions to continually improve culinary skills
- assist in inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies
