Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Fully conversational in English
  • Minimum 2 years of culinary experience in a fast-paced dining restaurant
  • Must successfully obtain SERVSafe Certification or equivalent within 30 days of being hired
  • Knowledge of cooking procedures, safety, and sanitation
  • Experience on multiple stations in the kitchen preferred
  • Excellent knife skills
  • Able to lift 35 lbs or more
  • Supporting other cooks and working in a team environment
  • Must be mobile and able to stand for extended periods, stoop, kneel, and crouch
  • Must be available to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, holidays, and bad weather conditions
  • Must be flexible

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Fully conversational in English
  • Minimum 2 years of culinary experience in a fast-paced dining restaurant
  • Ability to demonstrate moderate-level cooking skills including quick serve, grilling, and frying
  • Knowledge of cooking procedures, safety, and sanitation
  • Experience working multiple kitchen stations preferred
  • Excellent knife skills
  • Ability to lift 35 lbs or more
  • Availability to work varied hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and in adverse weather
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as stooping, kneeling, and crouching
  • Willingness to obtain SERVSafe Certification or equivalent within 30 days of hire

Job Duties

  • Prepare food following recipe guidelines and ensure portion sizing and plating consistency
  • Work on the line in one of OTG's multi-unit concepts
  • Ensure all food items for an order are ready at the same time
  • Control quality of all food items prepared to OTG specifications
  • Maintain organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipment
  • Operate kitchen equipment such as stoves, ovens, broilers, slicers, steamers, and kettles
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members and aim for guest satisfaction
