Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in food preparation preferred
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and corporate food safety regulations
  • Ability to prepare food according to standardized recipes
  • Capability to maintain cleanliness and organization in kitchen areas
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or eligible for accommodation due to medical or religious reasons
  • Must be able to work various shifts including part-time, full-time, and PRN

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food preparation or a related field preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely
  • Willingness to comply with health and safety regulations including vaccination requirements

Job Duties

  • Prepares food in accordance with applicable federal, state, and corporate standards, guidelines, and regulations with established policies and procedures
  • Ensures quality food service is provided at all times
  • Prepares high quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery, and service schedules
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty
  • Tastes all prepared food items
  • Uses established ticket collection procedures during service
  • Responsible for records from area worked during service periods
  • Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food handling procedures
  • Keeps refrigerator and storerooms clean and neat and ensures food and supply are stored per guidelines
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting as required
  • Assists in the ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required
  • Reports needed maintenance, faulty equipment, or accidents to supervisor immediately
  • Attends in services and meetings
  • Maintains good relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers
  • Performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment
