Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 2 years relevant catering or event food service experience
- food handler's certification
- ability to stand and work for extended periods
- capacity to lift heavy items up to 50 pounds
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- strong organizational skills
Job Qualifications
- Experience in large volume catering or event food service
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- attention to detail in food presentation and timing
- prior experience in holiday or large group catering preferred
- culinary training or certification is a plus
Job Duties
- Prepare and execute high-volume catered events including holiday lunch buffets
- coordinate with kitchen and event staff to ensure smooth operation
- manage food preparation and presentation to meet quality standards
- oversee timely delivery and replenishment of food stations during events
- maintain sanitation and safety compliance throughout food handling
- troubleshoot and resolve any issues arising during event service
- assist with setup and breakdown of catering equipment and food stations
