Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old
- ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- capable of standing or moving for up to four hours continuously
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
- comfort working in hot and damp environments
- adherence to safety and hygiene protocols including use of protective gear
- ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous culinary or kitchen experience is an asset but not required
- strong communication skills
- ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- attention to detail and commitment to food safety
- physical ability to stand and move for extended periods
- willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Job Duties
- prepare menu items according to Applebee's standards
- maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen area
- communicate effectively with team members and dining room staff
- adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations
- manage multiple orders efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- assist with inventory and stock management
- operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
