Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Minimum one year cooking experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Experience in cafeteria or large volume cooking preferred
- Knowledge of safety procedures in food service environments

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Prior cooking or kitchen experience in a cafeteria or large volume production facility a plus
- Experience with safety procedures typical in a cafeteria or food service environment
Job Duties
- Refer to Daily Prep List at the start of each shift for assigned duties and complete opening and closing checklists daily
- Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Safely use a variety of kitchen utensils including knives and other items
- Operate kitchen equipment including ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers
- Comply consistently with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules
- Handle, store, label, and rotate all products according to applicable state laws
- Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations
- Understand and prepare ingredients
- Multitask in a high-volume kitchen
- Handle hot and cold work conditions during food preparation
- Stand and be on feet for extended periods
- Perform other related duties as assigned
