Job Requirements
- Food preparation skills and knowledge of HACCP standards
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- Ability to bend, twist, and stand for extended periods
- Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions and correspondence
- Willingness to work in a hot environment
- Ability to work with sharp knives and kitchen utensils
- Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of related cooking experience
- Knowledge of food preparation and HACCP standards
- Experience in high volume and casual dining environments preferred
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow instructions and policy documents
- Effective communication skills with customers and team members
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job
Job Duties
- Prepare cooked foods according to recipes and product directions
- Perform all station functions including Fry, Flat Top Griddle, Pantry, and cooking eggs
- Communicate ticket times and potential problems to the manager on duty and servers
- Provide high-quality service to customers and associates
- Clean and sanitize work stations and equipment
- Follow food safety and sanitation practices according to HACCP standards
- Operate kitchen equipment and prepare ingredients
