Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
At least one year of relevant cooking experience preferred
Ability to work flexible hours including some weekends
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to providing compassionate care and food service
Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights

Job Qualifications

Knowledge of food preparation, ingredients, and kitchen equipment

Job Duties

Prepare and cook meals according to prescribed recipes and dietary requirements
Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained
Manage kitchen inventory and order supplies as needed
Collaborate with dining and care staff to meet residents' needs
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and equipment
Assist with menu planning and special meal preparations
Participate in training and development programs
