Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 0 - 2 years of related cooking experience beneficial
  • Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation principles
  • Ability to read and follow recipes accurately
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Adaptable and reliable

Job Duties

  • Prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for multiple meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and catered events
  • Read and follow basic recipes and product directions for preparing various food items
  • May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station
  • Attend work and show up for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Maintain a safe and healthy working environment
  • Reduce food waste by efficient preparation and portion control
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs and client requirements
