Job Requirements

  • Reading English and effective communication skills
  • At least 1 year experience as a cook
  • Experience in a commercial kitchen and/or a senior living facility preferred
  • Demonstrated talent for interacting with a wide variety of people
  • Ability to effectively organize and coordinate multiple priorities
  • Ability to work well as a team member
  • Ability to problem-solve
  • Washington State Food Handler's Card
  • Must be able to pass background and drug screens

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a cook
  • Experience in commercial kitchens or senior living facilities preferred
  • Washington State Food Handler's Card
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Problem-solving abilities

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook meals according to menu specifications and dietary needs
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Assist in kitchen operations and maintain cleanliness
  • Coordinate with Chef Manager and Senior Director of Dining Services
  • Manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Work collaboratively as part of the kitchen team
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
