Job Requirements
- Reading English and effective communication skills
- At least 1 year experience as a cook
- Experience in a commercial kitchen and/or a senior living facility preferred
- Demonstrated talent for interacting with a wide variety of people
- Ability to effectively organize and coordinate multiple priorities
- Ability to work well as a team member
- Ability to problem-solve
- Washington State Food Handler's Card
- Must be able to pass background and drug screens
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a cook
- Experience in commercial kitchens or senior living facilities preferred
- Washington State Food Handler's Card
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Problem-solving abilities
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook meals according to menu specifications and dietary needs
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist in kitchen operations and maintain cleanliness
- Coordinate with Chef Manager and Senior Director of Dining Services
- Manage multiple priorities effectively
- Work collaboratively as part of the kitchen team
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards
