Job Requirements
- Valid food handler's card
- Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday shifts
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to cooking and kitchen work
- Compliance with all company safety and hygiene policies
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Good communication skills
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in a food preparation or cook role preferred
- Valid food handler's card required
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow standardized recipes and portion control guidelines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
- Basic math skills for inventory and portioning
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Flexibility to work full-time shifts Monday through Friday
Job Duties
- Prepare high-quality food items following standardized recipes and instructions
- Serve meals or prepare food for delivery using correct portioning and presentation
- Taste all prepared food items to ensure quality
- Use established ticket collection procedures during service
- Clean kitchen and maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Store or discard excess food according to safe food-handling procedures
- Keep refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment
- Assist in production planning, record keeping, and reporting
- Assist in ordering and receiving food and supplies
- Report maintenance needs or equipment faults immediately
- Attend in-service and safety meetings
- Maintain good working relationships with coworkers and management
- Perform job safely and maintain a clean, safe work environment
- Follow HACCP standards and company safety policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
