Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Must meet state, county, or municipal food handling regulations
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk 85-95% of the shift
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must pass all required tests and training
- Ability to work with hazardous chemicals
- Ability to tolerate temperature extremes in kitchen and freezer areas
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Basic math skills including understanding units of measure
- Ability to read tickets, recipes, and product specifications
- Excellent guest service skills
- Dependable and able to follow instructions
- Reasonable English communication skills both oral and written
- Respect for diversity and others
Job Duties
- Prepare food to order following Denny's menu and food specifications
- Ensure proper food temperature and presentation
- Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment
- Honor guest requests for special orders
- Complete side-work and organize supplies
- Monitor food waste and cost controls
- Assist other team members proactively
