Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years old or older
  • Must meet state, county, or municipal food handling regulations
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand and walk 85-95% of the shift
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must pass all required tests and training
  • Ability to work with hazardous chemicals
  • Ability to tolerate temperature extremes in kitchen and freezer areas

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years old or older
  • Basic math skills including understanding units of measure
  • Ability to read tickets, recipes, and product specifications
  • Excellent guest service skills
  • Dependable and able to follow instructions
  • Reasonable English communication skills both oral and written
  • Respect for diversity and others

Job Duties

  • Prepare food to order following Denny's menu and food specifications
  • Ensure proper food temperature and presentation
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment
  • Honor guest requests for special orders
  • Complete side-work and organize supplies
  • Monitor food waste and cost controls
  • Assist other team members proactively
