Job Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- assist in the preparation of ingredients including chopping, marinating, and portioning
- ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands and guest expectations
- maintain a clean and organized work area following all safety and sanitation guidelines
- monitor food quality during preparation and cooking to ensure flavor and presentation meet resort standards
- collaborate with the culinary team to create seasonal menus and specials, providing input on new dishes
- assist with inventory management including receiving and storing food products and reporting any shortages
- support kitchen operations by cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations
- adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
- participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive and collaborative kitchen atmosphere
