Job Requirements

  • 2 years of cook experience
  • valid government issued identification
  • willing to obtain food handler card for Riverside County
  • availability to work varying schedules including weekends
  • ability to read and speak English
  • knowledge of food safety regulations
  • physical ability to perform kitchen duties

  • experience in hospital setting preferred
  • experience in skilled nursing preferred
  • ability to read and speak English
  • willing to obtain food handler card for Riverside County
  • familiar with regulatory logs and food safety protocols

Job Duties

  • food preparation for both patient dining and retail service
  • must have or be willing to obtain food handler card for Riverside County
  • understand and populate all regulatory logs including tracking food temperatures and time temperature control requirements
  • follow food safety standards including cool down procedures and preventing cross contamination
  • read and execute standardized recipes
  • regularly check and restock food and beverage supplies in storage areas and kitchenettes
  • operate dishwashing equipment and maintain clean and organized dishwashing area
  • assist in maintaining cleanliness throughout the department
