Job Duties
- Prepares and cooks food for residents
- monitors food service for nutritional, safety, sanitation and quality standards
- frequently uses microwave, stove, oven, can openers, dishwashers, slicers, grease traps, vent hoods, and freezers
- cleans and inspects equipment, appliances, and work areas in order to ensure cleanliness and functional operation
- prepares major meals by following recipes, determining food quantities and following meal time schedules
- follows all food safety regulations
