Job Requirements

  • must meet minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the united states
  • ability to bend, reach, stoop and lift up to 30 pounds safely
  • ability to stand for an 8 to 12 hour shift
  • ability to work as a team with attention to detail and multitasking ability

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior cooking experience preferred
  • knowledge of food safety practices
  • ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • attention to detail
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • accommodate and stock prep and line stations
  • clean, sanitize and organize kitchen area, equipment and utensils
  • check quality and freshness of ingredients
  • prepare, season and cook food according to recipes, specified quantities and specifications while maintaining portion control systems
  • inspect food prep and serving areas, utensils and equipment to ensure compliance with safe and sanitary food handling practices
  • substitute or assist other cooks and kitchen positions during peak periods
