Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year kitchen experience in a high-volume or fast-casual setting
  • Skilled in prep, cooking, and executing recipes with consistency
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepares a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and kitchen equipment
  • Knows and complies with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen policies
  • Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure smooth service
  • Portions food products prior to cooking according to recipe specifications
  • Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers
  • Assists in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed
  • Closes the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations
  • Attends all scheduled team meetings and training sessions
  • Performs other duties such as dishwashing, bussing as assigned
