Job Requirements

- Minimum 1 year kitchen experience in a high-volume or fast-casual setting
- Skilled in prep, cooking, and executing recipes with consistency
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Job Duties
- Prepares a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and kitchen equipment
- Knows and complies with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen policies
- Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure smooth service
- Portions food products prior to cooking according to recipe specifications
- Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers
- Assists in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed
- Closes the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations
- Attends all scheduled team meetings and training sessions
- Performs other duties such as dishwashing, bussing as assigned
