Job Requirements
- Food preparation skills and knowledge of HACCP standards
- Minimum 1 year closely related cooking experience
- Experience in high volume casual dining environment preferred
- Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions and policies
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- Ability to bend, twist, and stand for normal job functions
- Frequent immersion of hands in water and chemical solutions
- Frequent use of sharp knives and hot plates
- Ability to work in hot environments
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of related cooking experience
- Knowledge of HACCP standards
- Experience in high volume and casual dining preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and correspondence
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of soups, saute, broiler, fry, and pantry cooking techniques
Job Duties
- Prepare cooked foods following recipes and product directions
- Perform all station functions including fry, flat top griddle, pantry, and cooking eggs
- Communicate ticket times and potential problems to management and servers
- Provide highest quality service to customers and associates at all times
- Clean and sanitize work stations and equipment
- Operate kitchen equipment and measure, mix ingredients
- Stock, date, rotate, and check temperature of products
