Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in food service or kitchen roles
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 3:00 pm
- Willingness to comply with health and safety regulations
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with food preparation
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety
- Legal eligibility to work in the United States
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
Job Qualifications
- Prior food service experience
- Experience in kitchen, hospitality or food preparation
- Ability to prepare food following standardized recipes
- Knowledge of safe food handling and portion control
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment operation
- Commitment to safety protocols including HACCP standards
- Ability to work full time Monday through Friday schedule
- Basic record keeping and production planning skills
Job Duties
- Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
- Serves meals using correct portioning and ensures food is at the correct temperature
- Uses established ticket collection procedures during service
- Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures
- Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
- Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting
- Assists in the ordering and receiving of food and supplies
- Reports needed maintenance, faulty equipment or accidents to the supervisor
- Attends in-service and safety meetings
- Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers
- Performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment
- Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures following HACCP standards
- Personal commitment to safety and abiding by all company policies and procedures including use of protective gloves and slip-resistant shoes
- Performs other duties as assigned
