Job Duties

  • Follows written recipes to prepare high quality and nutritious menu options
  • Assists in developing menus and preparing special meals following daily prep lists
  • Helps Dining Director and Executive Chef with inventory management and ordering
  • Maintains a clean and sanitary working environment including cleaning equipment and dishes
  • Assists with various cooking methods such as baking, frying, cold salad preparation, sautéing, and short order cooking
  • Provides a pleasant dining experience for residents and guests
  • Supports team members and accommodates resident preferences
