Job Requirements

  • Food preparation skills and knowledge of HACCP standards
  • the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions and policy documents
  • physical ability to lift or move up to 40 pounds
  • ability to bend, twist, and stand for extended periods
  • frequent use of hands immersed in water and chemical solutions
  • frequent work with sharp knives, utensils, and hot plates
  • capability to work in hot environments

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of closely related cooking experience
  • experience in high volume and casual dining environments preferred
  • knowledge of soups, saute, broiler, fry, and pantry food preparation
  • ability to read, comprehend instructions and communicate effectively
  • capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare cooked foods following recipes and product directions
  • operate all station functions including fry, flat top griddle, pantry, and egg cooking
  • communicate ticket times and issues to management and servers
  • provide high-quality service to customers and associates
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and equipment
  • adhere to food safety and HACCP standards
  • stock, date, rotate, and check product temperatures
