maintain sufficient vision for reading instructions and preparing food
possess adequate hearing to respond to verbal instructions and phone orders
capable of verbal communication with coworkers and customers
demonstrate hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for precise food preparation
tolerate high temperature environment near ovens
able to reach and manipulate kitchen equipment
read and follow written directions

Job Qualifications

high school diploma or equivalent preferred
prior experience in food preparation or kitchen work desirable
ability to follow recipes and food safety guidelines accurately
good communication skills for customer interaction
basic math skills for handling transactions
ability to work in a fast-paced environment

physical stamina for standing long periods and lifting
mental alertness for multitasking and order tracking

Job Duties

prepare food orders placed by customers according to specifications
separate and organize items for each individual order
package orders for carryout or delivery
assist servers with dine-in orders
prepare ingredients and food items in advance as required
operate kitchen equipment such as ovens and dough proofers
operate cash register and handle customer transactions
wash dishes and clean work areas
answer phones and take customer orders
restock make table and preparation stations
ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met
clean and close down work area at the end of shifts
