Job Requirements
- One year foodservice experience
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to obtain Food Handlers Permit within 30 days of hire if required
- Physical ability to perform medium work requiring up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- Commitment to adhere to healthcare foodservice industry standards
- Willingness to perform cleaning and sanitizing duties
- Ability to work part-time hours
Job Qualifications

- Knowledge of safe cooking techniques and healthcare foodservice regulations
- Understanding of therapeutic diet preparation and food allergy modifications

Job Duties
- Prepares and serves food within guidelines of menu and dietary requirements, using required kitchen utensils and equipment
- Modifies preparations to account for food allergies
- Follows healthcare foodservice industry standards, regulations, guidelines and procedures including monitoring and maintaining food temperatures
- Avoids cross-contamination of foods and adheres to personal hygiene requirements
- Maintains labeling and storage of food, equipment, and machinery
- Performs washing and cleaning duties to ensure sanitation and cleanliness in cooking and serving areas
- Carries out other duties as assigned by leader
