Job Requirements

  • must be at least 18 years old
  • ability to effectively communicate with others
  • ability to remain stationary and mobile for up to four hours
  • capable of lifting up to 50 pounds safely
  • able to work in hot and damp environments
  • ability to wear protective hand coverings and face masks for entire shifts
  • frequent hand washing with disinfecting soap
  • physical dexterity for handling small tools and equipment

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment is a plus but not required
  • good communication skills
  • ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • commitment to quality and food safety
  • basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and tools
  • ability to follow instructions and adapt to a dynamic work environment

Job Duties

  • prepare and cook menu items according to Applebee's standards
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
  • follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • communicate effectively with team members and management
  • assist with inventory and stock management
  • adhere to all health and safety protocols
  • provide excellent customer service when interacting with guests
