Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old
- ability to effectively communicate with others
- ability to remain stationary and mobile for up to four hours
- capable of lifting up to 50 pounds safely
- able to work in hot and damp environments
- ability to wear protective hand coverings and face masks for entire shifts
- frequent hand washing with disinfecting soap
- physical dexterity for handling small tools and equipment
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment is a plus but not required
- good communication skills
- ability to work effectively as part of a team
- commitment to quality and food safety
- basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and tools
- ability to follow instructions and adapt to a dynamic work environment
Job Duties
- prepare and cook menu items according to Applebee's standards
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- communicate effectively with team members and management
- assist with inventory and stock management
- adhere to all health and safety protocols
- provide excellent customer service when interacting with guests
