Job Requirements
- Must be 16 years old to be hired
- 18 years old to operate mandated equipment and meet any other state qualifications
- Ability to stand or walk 100% of shift
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work at a high pace under pressure while maintaining quality and speed standards
- Successful completion of hourly position validations including reading training materials and watching videos
- Employees are held accountable for all duties of this job
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cooking experience in a restaurant or fast-paced kitchen environment preferred
- Ability to follow recipes and cooking instructions accurately
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain quality and speed
- Must be at least 16 years old to be hired, 18 years old to operate specific kitchen equipment
Job Duties
- Prepare food items according to our standards of quality, consistency and time lines
- Ensure compliance with all health codes and requirements
- Maintain stocking (re-stocking), cleanliness and organization of work area
- Complete prep tasks as needed according to recipe, procedure, quality and speed standards
- Operate equipment safely determined by position and OSHA regulations
- Respond to additional customer requests by preparing orders to their specifications
- Maintain food storage, receiving, stocking & rotating
