Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to effectively communicate with others
- Ability to remain stationary and exert well-paced mobility for up to four hours
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
- Willingness to work in a hot and damp environment
- Ability to wear protective hand coverings and face masks during shifts
- Ability to frequently wash hands with disinfecting soap
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to company standards
Job Duties
- Prepare menu items according to Applebee's recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions in the kitchen
- Work closely with team members to ensure efficient food preparation and service
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including wearing protective gear
- Communicate effectively with staff and management
- Handle physical demands such as lifting and standing for extended periods
- Maintain stock and supplies for food preparation
