Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to remain stationary and exert well-paced mobility for long periods up to four hours
  • Ability to safely reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
  • Capability to work in hot and damp environments
  • Ability to communicate clearly with employees and dining staff
  • Possession of finger and hand dexterity for using small tools and equipment
  • Willingness to wear protective hand coverings and face masks throughout the shift
  • Ability to frequently wash hands with disinfecting soap throughout the shift

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment is an asset
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work well in a team setting
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy shifts

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to Applebee's recipes and standards
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment
  • Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
  • Assist with inventory control and restocking supplies
  • Support management with food preparation and other tasks as needed
  • Provide excellent service by contributing to a positive customer dining experience
