Job Requirements
- Must be at least 17 years old
- Ability to remain stationary and exert mobility for up to four hours
- Capacity to safely lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work in hot and damp environments
- Ability to use small kitchen tools and equipment
- Must be able to wear protective hand and face coverings throughout the shift
- Commitment to frequent hand washing and sanitation protocols
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cooking or kitchen experience in a restaurant setting is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management
- Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Reliable and punctual work ethic
Job Duties
- Prepare menu items according to company recipes and standards
- Ensure food quality and safety through proper handling and storage
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and work areas
- Collaborate effectively with team members and dining room staff
- Communicate clearly and efficiently during shift operations
- Follow health and safety guidelines including wearing protective equipment
- Lift and move items up to 50 pounds safely
